Committees

Committees

The GCPA has five committees actively engaging the members and providing incentive for new members to join. In order for these committees to be successful we need feedback and participation from the members. Learn more about each committee by clicking on one below.

Communications Committee The Communications Committee is responsible for distributing information about past and future events and pertinent news to GCPA members.	Education Committee The Education Committee shall be responsible for arranging the continuing education programs of the Association, primarily CE Dinner Programs. The Committee is also responsible for administering the scholarship application and award process.
Legislative Affairs Committee The Legislative Affairs Committee is responsible for organizing the legislative programs of the Association, such as legislative coffee hours and breakfast meetings prior to events in Lansing.	Membership Committee The Membership Committee is responsible for organizing and conducting membership enrollment campaigns and social events for the membership, such as the membership appreciation event held each spring.
Golf Outing Planning Committee The Golf Outing Planning Committee is responsible for planning the annual outing, including date, location, format, player options, and sponsorship opportunities.	New Practitioners Committee The New Practitioners Committee is responsible for the organization of events and campaigns engaging new practitioners in the Genesee and Tuscola County areas.
Community Services Committee The Community Services Committee is responsible for the organization of community events and any campaigns or projects promoting good public health and the public image of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and the profession of pharmacy.
